Prophet, It’s Time to Heal (Prophetic Word)
My Prophets are running in a spirit of haste. My Prophets are running with dreams and ideas. My Prophets have not taken time to test and discern what they have heard. Instead, they run in their flesh to try and fulfill them. Why aren’t My Prophets waiting on me? Why are My Prophets in such a hurry?
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6 ESV
Many of My Prophets have said to themselves, “I am walking in step with God’s Spirit because He is the one who gave me the idea.” But my prophets are in error. They have the prophetic word but have not learned My prophetic processes.
Every time I release a prophetic word, there is a process of sowing, waiting, and watching the prophet must endure.
The prophetic word is meant to be prayed, not strived for.
Every time I give My Prophets a prophetic word, I desire that they pray. I desire that they intercede. I desire that they slow down. I desire that the seek My Face. I desire that they fast and pray. Many of My Prophets say, “I have prayed. I have interceded. I have waited.” But this is only step one of the process.
After the prophet prays, the prophet must then identify their co-laborers. Many of My Prophets are failing, finding themselves in constant cycles of being stuck and stagnant because they have no co-laborers. No leader is called to go alone. With Moses, I sent Aaron. For my Son (Jesus), I gave the disciples. True leaders, born of My Spirit, understand the importance of working within the context of covenant relationships, as well as others who are sold out for the collective mission and vision I have deposited in their hearts.
Many of My Prophets do not understand the assignment of leadership and submission on their lives. They must prayerfully identify the apostle they are called to co-labor with, and they must prayerfully identify (alongside their apostle) the additional 5-fold ministry leaders they are supposed to build alongside. Any ministry that is built without the presence of the entire 5-fold ministry will follow. This is why so many of My Prophets are led astray. They are trying to build as one-man-islands, thinking their gifts are enough. No! There is more, so much more I have assigned to their lives. My Prophets must understand that there is so much more.
This then begs the question, why aren’t My Prophets following my precepts for their role in 5-Fold Ministry? My Prophets are blocked in hearing my voice concerning the call to 5-Fold Ministry because they have faced an incredible amount of church hurt, rejection, and childhood trauma. The combination of rejection from the world (their family and friends) as well as the church has caused a deep sense of shame, guilt, and fear that they will never belong. As a result, in a desperate yet genuine attempt to obey God, they seek to build their ministries by themselves. I understand why My Prophets want to build alone, but this is simply not My will. I will never call My Prophets to build and serve in isolation to the rest of the body of Christ and the system of leadership I have created.
Every prophet is called to labor alongside apostles, pastors, teachers, and evangelists.
When My people work together, they find themselves blessed. When My people attempt to labor alone, they find themselves burnt out, confused in unsustainable cycles of contending and prayer. They cannot continue this way. I desire to preserve the souls of My prophets. I desire to provide financially for My Prophets. I desire to preserve the marriages (current and the ones to come) and the relationships of My Prophets with their family, friends, and partners in ministry (including those they are called to disciple).
In order for My Prophets to submit to the call to the 5-Fold Ministry, they must first commit to healing. Until My Prophets heal from the wounds of their past, they will never be able to clarify their calling. Until My Prophets heal, they will filter everything I tell them through the lens of self-isolation. Self-isolation leads to death. No matter how much I speak or pour into My Prophets, if they make an idol out of individuality, they will never become who I have called them to be. Prophet, surrender to healing so you can surrender to the family I have called you to build with. You are not alone— you were never alone. The people who hurt and rejected you were never meant to define you. Prophet, heal so I can love you through My People.
