The Call of Every Prophet

Since the Holy Spirit was poured out over 2000 years ago, each century has seen God’s people rise to the challenge of serving Jesus and His Kingdom in innovative and impactful ways. Today, we stand in the 21st century with a prophetic invitation that echoes through our daily lives—every prophet is called to the marketplace. But what does this mean? How can prophets operate in and transform the marketplace?

Marketplace ministry occurs when individuals infuse their secular environment with Christian principles and values. This is possible through the pursuit of corporate careers, entrepreneurial innovation, or prophetic life coaching. Some prophets will be called to all three, while others may be called to one. At the heart, it’s about being an intercessor and showing Christ through actions rather than just words. This involves being a vessel of God’s presence in everyday settings, allowing His spirit to guide visions, ideas, and dreams that bring God-ordained, prophetic solutions to the world's problems.

  • In the corporate world, prophets are called to be prayer warriors, ministering right where they are. This doesn’t always mean vocalizing the name "Jesus" but rather embodying His teachings through actions. By introducing visions and innovative ideas, a prophet in a corporate setting can influence culture, enhance products and services, and expand reach—all while leading with integrity and ethical values that reflect their faith.

  • Prophets are also pioneering entrepreneurs who craft innovative solutions to societal problems. This avenue of ministry might manifest in creative industries such as arts, music, or even beauty salons—any space where they can serve the community and generate resources that uplift populations or generations. Here, being a "Creative" means using God-given talents to create change and serve others in unique and impactful ways.

  • Combining elements of inner healing, deliverance, biblical counseling, mentorship, life coaching, and prophetic teaching, this path allows prophets to directly shape the spiritual journeys of individuals.
