“Stay on the Wall: A Call for Prophets to Rise Again”
Dear Selah Family,
Happy November! Can you believe there are only two months left in the year? Around this time, many of us start reflecting—giving thanks for what’s happened, dreaming about what’s next, and setting our sights on 2026.
But lately, the Lord’s been showing me something deeper. Many prophets are getting distracted in this very season of reflection and planning. The enemy is using busyness, anxiety, and even good things to quietly pull you off your wall.
And the Lord is saying: “It’s time to wake up and get back on your wall.”
What Does It Mean to Be “Off the Wall”?
God has called every prophet to be a watchman—someone who stands in prayer, intercession, and discernment, guarding what God has spoken. But too many have left their posts. We’ve grown tired, discouraged, or distracted, and we’ve stopped praying with authority.
Isaiah 62:6–7 reminds us:
“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen;
all day and all night they will never keep silent.
You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves,
and give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem
and makes her a praise in the earth.”
The Lord gave me this word:
“Many of My prophets have left their wall. They are not praying, not seeking. They’ve become complacent and stagnant, and they wonder why they feel stuck. It’s because they’ve stopped interceding and left their post.”
If we’re honest, many of us didn’t even realize we stepped off the wall. We thought we were still in God’s will, but doubt, unbelief, and distraction crept in. God is sounding the alarm: Prophets, be vigilant. Pray. Return to your post.
A Vision of the Enemy’s Strategy
Recently, the Lord gave Apostle Nicole a dream that the prophets are off the wall. Then He showed Apostle Magleny a vision: an army of witches being deployed, wearing masks of light.
It was a counterfeit “angel of light” operation—assignments designed to deceive even the discerning. The enemy is sending distractions disguised as destiny.
Relationships that look holy.
Jobs that seem like answers to prayer.
Opportunities that glitter like gold.
But they’re traps meant to delay your calling. The Lord is revealing the masks, exposing false alignments, and inviting His prophets to come out of wrong covenants, heal from old wounds, and return to purity of purpose.
Before you continue, I encourage you to revisit two recent Selah Streams words: “Demonic Delay is Over” and “Divorcing Ungodly Covenants.” Both carry insight that will prepare your spirit for what God is saying now. They lay the foundation for this next part of the message—understanding how to remain steadfast and faithful on your wall.
Now, let’s talk about what it really looks like to stay on the wall when distractions, delays, and spiritual warfare come against your calling.
How to Stay on the Wall
1. Seek the Lord in Prayer
Everything begins with asking.
Ask the Lord, “What is my focus for this season?”
Not what’s popular, not what everyone else is doing, but what He is emphasizing for you.
Some of you are called to stay in a place that feels frustrating—whether it’s a job, a church, or a city—because that space is your training ground. Don’t curse what God is using to cultivate your endurance.
For others, your wall might be a burden to intercede for your family, your nation, or your generation.
Prayer is where clarity comes. When you pray from your post, you stop reacting to chaos and start hearing Heaven’s rhythm again.
2. Don’t Rush End-of-Year Decisions
Prophets often feel the pressure to move fast—new year, new plan, new word. But the Lord is saying, “Don’t rush ahead of Me.”
Some of the biggest mistakes happen when we make emotional, end-of-year decisions that look wise but are rooted in fatigue or fear. Don’t sign what God didn’t send. Don’t say yes to what only looks good on paper.
Stillness is warfare. When you wait on God, you strip the enemy of his power to bait you with urgency.
I know this personally. For years, I wanted to move to California for work. It seemed like the dream. Opportunities kept opening up, doors looked divine, and I thought each one was a confirmation that God was sending me there.
But if I’m honest, that desire wasn’t coming from a healthy place. There was a striving underneath it—a longing to prove something or to escape the place God had called me to. It wasn’t until I stayed on the wall in prayer and remained submitted to my apostolic covering, Apostle Nicole, that the Lord showed me the truth.
He said, “Daughter, where I have you is where I need you to slow down.”
That broke me because I realized I had been equating motion with progress. God was asking me to be still so He could heal and refine me.
Even in work, new opportunities came—some amazing doors. But I had to learn that every “yes” in one area is a “no” in another. Every commitment requires clarity of priorities. I had to ask, “Lord, is this Your will, or just my want?”
Staying on the wall taught me that discernment is born in surrender. I found peace when I stopped chasing and started listening.
3. Pray About Your Relationships
Who you walk with determines how long you last on the wall. Some of you are exhausted not because of your assignment, but because of your alignments.
Ask the Lord to expose every relationship that drains your discernment or distracts your devotion. Some people appear spiritual on the outside, but their influence pulls you away from the purity of God’s voice. They may sound prophetic, but the fruit of their life reveals mixture.
God is bringing light to these relationships so that your circle matches your calling. At the same time, He’s also revealing divine connections—people who challenge you, sharpen you, and carry the grace to build with you.
Pray for clarity, courage, and clean hands. The wall is no place for divided hearts.
4. Get Under Apostolic Covering
Every prophet needs a home.
Not a platform, a covering.
The prophetic thrives under apostolic order because that’s where safety and maturity meet. When you’re covered, correction becomes protection. Alignment births acceleration.
If you don’t have an apostle, begin to pray. Ask God to lead you to the one assigned to your destiny—not someone popular, but someone anointed to shepherd your soul.
You don’t need another online word; you need a spiritual home. Stay accountable. Stay connected.
5. Repent and Heal
The wall requires clean hands and a pure heart.
Many have come off the wall because they carried unhealed wounds—disappointment, bitterness, rejection, or pride. These wounds became open doors.
Ask the Holy Spirit: “What do I need to take ownership for?”
Not to shame you, but to free you. Repentance restores your authority.
Find trusted community where you can confess, be prayed for, and walk out healing. God is delivering His prophets from isolation and self-preservation.
Healing is holy. It doesn’t disqualify you; it repositions you.
The Call to Rise Again
Prophet, the wall is calling your name.
The Lord is restoring your post. He’s rebuilding the prophetic watch—pure, humble, healed, and awake.
Don’t despise the shaking; it’s positioning you.
Don’t fear the silence; it’s training you to listen again.
Don’t rush off the wall; wait until He says move.
It’s time to rise, pray, and guard what God has promised.
If this word is stirring something in your spirit and you want to go deeper, I want to invite you to apply to Selah Seminary. We would love to walk this out with you—to help you grow in discernment, healing, and prophetic maturity as you learn to stay on your wall.
With love and conviction,
