Brinisha Shaw is a dedicated and compassionate leader with a deep commitment to nurturing the next generation of ministry leaders within the African Diaspora. As the Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Selah Seminary, Brinisha plays a pivotal role in welcoming and guiding prospective students through a supportive and transformative admissions process. Her work is central to Selah Seminary's mission of fostering holistic healing, spiritual empowerment, and community building through ecumenical training Black Christian leaders.

Brinisha's ministerial training and background are deeply rooted in the Baptist Church, where she honed her skills in spiritual leadership, teaching, and discipleship. As the former Selah Seminary Discipleship Pastor, her responsibilities encompassed a broad spectrum of spiritual leadership, including providing ongoing support and guidance to students, expanding the ministry's vision both online and in person, developing and overseeing discipleship curriculum, actively engaging with the online community, and identifying and nurturing potential leaders within the congregation. These roles refined her ability to empathize, uplift, and guide others—qualities that are essential in her current role in admissions at Selah Seminary.

With a decade of experience in education, Brinisha's journey from classroom teaching to influencing teacher education highlights her strengths in encouragement, teaching, and loyalty. Her tenure at Collaborative for Children and her role as a Corporate Quality Specialist at Children's Learning Adventure deepened her understanding of federal education funding, the challenges within the childcare sector, and the operational aspects of educational institutions. Her transition from directly educating children to empowering educators reflects her deep commitment to making a meaningful difference and creating nurturing and effective learning environments.
